Foley, Alabama is a beautiful small town in Baldwin County that is becoming an increasingly popular place to move for those who want to enjoy the atmosphere of a small town less than half-an-hour away from the famous white-sand beaches of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Baldwin County is the fastest growing county in Alabama and Foley is at the center of a number of improvements being done to the area to attract both potential residents and tourists alike. The Foley Sports Tourism Complex is comprised of a number of sports fields and a large stadium for indoor sports. In the same area as the sports complex, an amusement park is being built that promises a family-friendly environment with roller coasters and hotels.
Foley is one of the larger towns in Baldwin County, but still maintains a comfortable small-town atmosphere. There are a number of schools in the area that serves both residents of Foley and those from some of the smaller towns nearby, such as Elberta.
